The Baptist Association has a unique role.  From the very beginning of Baptist history, Baptist Churches have banded together in associations to provide assistance and motivation to member churches in carrying out the Great Commission of our Lord.   The association serves as a prime resource for strengthening and assisting present member churches and for encouraging and coordinating efforts to start new churches in areas that need them. The association also serves to help ensure doctrinal integrity and Baptist identity in the areas it serves. 

That really is what association missions is all about, churches working side by side, helping, exhorting and encouraging each other in the task of world evangelism.  Let’s work together with Great Passion to glorify Christ by fulfilling the great commission.  

Please pray for our Franklin Baptist Association churches and many ministries during Association Missions Week.  Also, please consider a special association offering during this time which is to be used toward parking paving and the Association Special Missions fund.
